The American Indian Exposition is announcing its calling for young Native American women as contestants in the 2017 Miss American Indian Exposition Pageant to be held in May 2017 in Lawton, OK.
Qualifications:
- Must be an enrolled tribal member or of Native American descent
- Must be between the ages of 16-23 years of age
- Must be college bound or enrolled in a university
- Must be single
- Must be a woman
- Must be of good moral character
The contestants will represent only ONE tribe. Upon receipt of an application the contestants will then assume the name of their tribes as a Miss. If there are more than one representative from a tribe then the area they are with will be on their banner.
Miss American Indian Exposition is an Ambassador of Goodwill. She represents her family, tribe, community and state. The competition is open state wide.
